San Angelo, Texas---The Colts bats stayed hot, as they extend their winning streak to four and eight straight against the Thunder Friday night, winning 13-6. Colts have now won ten of their last eleven games. San Angelo also increases their first place lead to five games over the WhiteWings.
Colts third baseman and Co-Captain Jason Crosland is showing no signs of once having a rib injury, as he sent out two balls for the second consecutive night. Crosland sent out the first of two, a two run bomb in the bottom of the second inning and another in the bottom half of the seventh inning, Crosland now has six on the season. The Colts scored seven in the seventh inning, sending ten batters to the plate. Colts righty Adam Kramer (1-1) would get his first win of the year while Thunder right-hander Kendrick Martin (2-6) would get his sixth loss of the season, as the Colts go on to win 13-6.
Tomorrow, the Colts will play game three of this four game series against the Thunder. Saturday night will be sports binocular night courtesy of Account Control Technology. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a pair of sports binoculars. Come back Sunday night as well, as the Colts close out the home stand against the Thunder. Sunday night has a pre-game youth clinic and free water bottles will be handed out, courtesy of Wal-Mart. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 for Saturday's game and Sunday's game's first pitch is scheduled for 6:05 pm. You can hear all the Colts action on 101.9 "The Fire".
