Madison Capitols News Release
Green Bay, WI - A seesaw game tilted to a 5-4 victory for the Green Bay Gamblers thanks to a four-goal third period over the Madison Capitols on Friday night at the Resch Center. With the win, Green Bay gained a 3-2 lead in the Odessey Brands Wisconsin Cheese Cup.
Carson Bantle opened the scoring only 1:29 into the first period when he tallied his 13thof the season on a breakaway through the five-hole of Gamblers netminder, Nicholas Grabko, on the first shot of the game. With the goal, Bantle tied Ryan Kirwan for the team lead.
Reid Pabich followed up Bantle's goal late in the period with one of his own.
