
Capitals Assign Fahey to Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Washington Capitals have assigned defenseman Brian Fahey to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
A 6'1", 215-pound native of Des Plaines, Illinois, Fahey made his NHL debut in last night's Capitals win at Nashville. Fahey, 29, is a seventh-year professional who has one goal and one assist and a +4 rating in two games with the Bears this season.
