
Canucks Reassign Blomstrand to Kalamazoo

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher announced that the Vancouver Canucks have reassigned forward Ludwig Blomstrand to the Canucks ECHL affiliate, the Kalamazoo Wings.
Blomstrand, 20, has played in all six games for the Comets this season without recording a point. He split the 2012-13 season with the AHL Chicago Wolves and Sweden-1 Djurgardens IF Stockholm. The 6'1", 198 lbs. Forward registered two points (1-1-2) and 2 penalty minutes in eight games with the Wolves.
The Uppsala, SWE native was selected by Vancouver in the fourth round (#120 overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
