Cannata, Nantel Reassigned to Colorado Eagles

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that forward Julien Nantel and goaltender Joe Cannata have been reassigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Nantel has generated four goals and six assists in 13 games with the Eagles. In addition to his time with Colorado, the 21 year-old has collected six goals and two assists in 48 games with the Rampage. In total, Nantel has amassed 11 goals and five assists in 107 AHL games with San Antonio.

Cannata currently leads the ECHL with a .933 save-percentage, while ranking 4th in the league with a 2.16 goals-against average. The 28 year-old boasts a record of 19-4-1-1 on the season, including a pair of shutouts and five shootout victories. The 6th round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has also appeared in five games with the Rampage this season, going 3-0-1 with a 1.84 GAA, a .920 save-percentage and one shutout.

The Eagles return to action when they take on the Allen Americans on Friday, March 30th at 6:05pm MT at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas.
