Last Night
Gergo Nagy scored with two seconds left in regulation to give the Mallards a buzzer-beating 2-1 victory over the host Oilers.
Tripleheader
The Mallards today go for a sweep of their three-game weekend series in Tulsa. A 3-2 win over the Oilers Friday preceded last night's victory.
Back-to-Back
The Mallards have won back-to-back games for the first time since ripping off three straight victories between February 11 and February 16.
One
The Mallards' last four wins have all been one-goal victories. The Mallards have gone 14-7-4 in one-goal games this season.
Front Runner
The Mallards have not trailed while defeating the Oilers each of the last two nights.
Road Warriors
The Mallards have matched their longest road winning streak of the season by winning the last two nights after equaling a team record set earlier this season by dropping their prior nine away games in regulation. The Mallards first endured nine straight regulation setbacks on the road between December 8 and January 6.
Hit the Road
The Mallards have gone 2-1-0 over the first three games of a six-game road trip.
Home Cooking
The Mallards have lost their last three home games. That skid is their longest home regulation losing streak this season.
Muzzled
The Mallards last night allowed fewer than two goals for the third time this season and for the first time in 49 games since they shut out the Mavericks 2-0 in Kansas City on November 26. The Mallards have given up two goals or fewer in each of their last two games after surrendering at least three in each of their previous 22 outings. Prior to this weekend, the Mallards last held the opposition to a pair of goals on February 2 when they defeated the Kalamazoo Wings 6-2.

The Oilers took 42 shots each of the last two nights. The Mallards won both games despite being outshot 84-56 in the process.
Rebound
The Mallards won their first two games of the weekend after setting club single season records for regulation losses (40) and away regulation defeats (25) by dropping their previous game 8-0 last Sunday in Kansas City.
Buzzer-Beater
By burying the game winner at 19:58 of the third period last night, Nagy scored the Mallards' latest regulation goal of the season.
First
Rookie Dmitry Osipov last night scored his first career goal.
Double Dip
Alex Globke and Matt Pohlkamp both assisted on each of the Mallards' goals last night. Globke (1-2-3) and Pohlkamp (0-3-3) have collected three points apiece over the last two evenings.
Helping Hand
William Raskob is tied for second among ECHL rookies and tied for sixth defenseman in assists (32).
Between the Pipes
Eric Hartzell last night earned his first Mallard win in 14 games since joining the team in December. Last night's victory was Hartzell's first in the ECHL since December 4, 2016 when he made 27 saves for Fort Wayne in the Komets' 4-2 home triumph over the Utah Grizzlies. Hartzell last night stopped 41 shots to one-up C.J. Motte, who made 40 saves in Friday's victory.
Red Light District
The Mallards rank twenty-sixth in the ECHL in goals scored per game (2.7) and twenty-seventh in goals allowed per game (4.2).
Outside the Box
The Mallards are the second least penalized team in the ECHL. They average 9.7 minutes in the box per game.
Special Teams
The Mallards went 0-for-2 on the power play last night while the Oilers went 0-for-1. Friday evening and last night combined, the Mallards went 0-for-7 and the Oilers were 1-for-7. In total, the Mallards have gone ten straight man advantages over three games without converting. The Mallards are tied for sixteenth in the ECHL on the power play (16.5 percent) and rank twenty-fifth in penalty killing (77.5 percent).
Head to Head
The Mallards and Oilers wrap up their six-game season series today. The Mallards have taken four of the first five meetings between the two clubs and clinched the season series with last night's win. All-time, the Mallards have gone 21-15-0 against Tulsa overall and 7-7-0 at the BOK Center.
Ins and Outs
The Mallards Thursday signed defenseman Tommy Muratore to an amateur tryout agreement... Kyle Follmer (upper body injury) has missed the Mallards' last 11 games...Triston Grant was suspended for the Mallards' final 14 games (March 7-April 8) after being assessed a match penalty March 4 vs. Fort Wayne.
