PROMOTIONS/EVENTS
Single Game Tickets Now On Sale: 2018 Playoff single game tickets are now on sale to the general public. Prices are: $25 for Adult and $18 for Youth (3-17). Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
Playoff Package Pick-Up: All season seat holder playoff packages are now available for pick up by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.
Ticket Centre Hours: The ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre is open Monday from 9:00am until 8:00pm as well as Tuesday to Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
Series Schedule: The Hurricanes will face the Red Deer Rebels in the first round of the playoffs for the second straight season, the series schedule is as follows:
Game 1 - Friday, March 23rd - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm
Game 2 - Saturday, March 24th - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm
Game 3 - Tuesday, March 27th - at Red Deer, 7:00pm
Game 4 - Wednesday, March 28th - at Red Deer, 7:00pm
*Game 5 - Saturday, March 31st - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm
*Game 6 - Sunday, April 1st - at Red Deer, 6:00pm
*Game 7 - Tuesday, April 3rd - at Lethbridge, 7:00pm
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Tuesday, March 13th - 5-1 Loss at Edmonton Oil Kings: The Hurricanes were handed a 5-1 loss in Edmonton to the Oil Kings on Tuesday. Jadon Joseph scored the lone goal in the loss.
Wednesday, March 14th - 5-2 Loss at Red Deer Rebels: The 'Canes fell 5-2 in Red Deer on Wednesday. Zane Franklin and Jake Elmer scored in the defeat.
Friday, March 16th - 4-2 Loss vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes were handed their eighth straight loss by the Tigers. Calen Addison and Jordy Bellerive scored in the losing cause.
Saturday, March 17th - 3-2 Win at Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes erased a 2-0 deficit en route to a come-from-behind 3-2 win in Medicine Hat to end the regular season on Saturday. Zach Cox, Jordy Bellerive and Logan Barlage scored in the victory that ended an eight-game losing streak.

THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE
(GAME 1) Friday, March 23rd, 7:00pm vs. Red Deer Rebels: The Hurricanes open the 2018 WHL Playoffs on Friday in the first of a best-of-seven quarter-final series against the Red Deer Rebels. Doors open at 6:00pm, puck drops at 7:00pm.
(GAME 2) Saturday, March 24th, 7:00pm vs. Red Deer Rebels: The 'Canes host the Rebels in Game 2 of their series on Saturday at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes won Game 2 against Red Deer last year in their opening round series.
NEWS & NOTES
Regular Season Done: The Hurricanes ended the 2017-2018 regular season with a weekend split with the Medicine Hat Tigers; the 'Canes win came on Saturday by a 3-2 score in the Hat that ended an eight game losing streak. The 'Canes finished the regular season in second in the Central Division with a record of 33-33-6-0 on the year.
My MVP: The Hurricanes 2017-2018 Most Valuable Player, Jordy Bellerive, had a great season finishing the year with 46 goals, 46 assists for 92 points. It was the third straight season that a 'Canes player scored 40+ goals in a season after Tyler Wong had 43 in 2015-2016 and 51 in 2016-2017. Zak Zborosky also had 41 in 2016-2017.
Sweet-16: Hurricanes Rookie of the Year Dylan Cozens had an outstanding 16-year-old season. The Whitehorse product finished second in rookie scoring with 53 points, just one back of Kootenay's Peyton Krebs despite playing ten less game. Cozens led all rookie with 22 goals and was the only rookie to score 20+ this season in the WHL.
