PROMOTIONS/EVENTS

"Canes Crush Cancer" Month:

The Hurricanes "Canes Crush Cancer" month helps raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Special "Canes Crush Cancer" t-shirts will be sold for $20.00 with the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Special "Canes Crush Cancer" Jersey Auction:

At the last home game of the month on November 27th, the Hurricanes will be donning a special "Canes Crush Cancer" jersey. The jerseys will be available for purchase through silent auction which will take place throughout the entire month on the concourse; all proceeds earned during the silent auction will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

"Canes Crush Cancer" Ticket Special:

The Hurricanes are offering a special ticket promo during the month of November. For just $30.00, you can purchase two tickets to any game in November (can be used at the same game or individual games). For every $30.00 purchase, $5.00 will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Season Tickets on Spinzo:

The Hurricanes are excited to offer a unique season ticket buying opportunity for fans. With the Spinzo platform, fans can purchase season tickets and the more fans buy, the less money the tickets cost for everyone. Visit: http://lethbridgehurricanes.spinzo.com/season for more info.

Individual Game Tickets:

Individual game tickets and flex packs are available for purchase at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre which is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm and Saturday's from 10:00am-4:00pm.

THE WEEK THAT WAS

Friday, November 6th - 5-2 WIN vs. Seattle: The Hurricanes snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over Jamal Watson and the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday night. Five different goal scorers lit the lamp including Cory Millette as the former T-Bird scored the game winning goal. It was the first win for the Hurricanes against the Thunderbirds since November 13th , 2007 - a span of eight games.

Saturday, November 7th - 3-2 WIN vs. Kootenay: The Hurricanes won their second straight in a thrilling fashion Saturday at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes trailed 2-1 heading into the third period but an Andrew Nielsen goal with 6:06 left in the third tied the game before Ryley Lindgren scored his fourth game winning goal of the season, and 11th overall, with just 33 seconds left to steal the two points.

THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE

Friday, November 13th - 6:00pm at Moose Jaw: After a brief two-game home stand the Hurricanes head

back out on the road as they kick off a their first three-in-three weekend with a game Friday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. The 'Canes and Warriors split games last season with Lethbridge taking one of two in Moose Jaw.

Saturday, November 14th - 6:30pm at Brandon: The Hurricanes continue their three-game trip on

Saturday night as they head to Manitoba to take on the Brandon Wheat Kings for the first time this season. The 'Canes look to beat the Wheaties for the first time since November 9th /2012.

Sunday, November 15th - 3:00pm at Regina: The 'Canes wrap up their three-in-three East Division road

trip as they face the Regina Pats on Sunday afternoon. It's the second meeting of the year against the Pats. The 'Canes picked up a 6-4 win last month at the ENMAX Centre.

NEWS & NOTES

Home Ice Advantage:

The Hurricanes have been terrific on home ice this season. Saturday's win over

the Kootenay Ice was the 'Canes sixth straight victory at the ENAMX Centre. The Hurricanes are an impressive 7-1-0-0 at home this season - second most home wins in the WHL.

Percentages Don't Lie:

The Hurricanes currently sit with an overall record of 12-5-0-0 on the season. The

Hurricanes currently have the best winning percentage in the entire Eastern Conference with a .706%. That is the third best winning percentage in the whole WHL only behind Victoria (.725%) and Kelowna (.722%).
