ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 4-13-2-0 record (3-5-2-0 at home, 1-8-0-0 on the road, 2-2 in overtime, 0-0 in shootouts) and in sixth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...KOOTENAY will complete a stretch of three consecutive away games with matchups in CALGARY November 13 and MEDICINE HAT November 14.

2 FOR 1 TUESDAYS: KOOTENAY ICE 2 FOR 1 TUESDAYS are back!...At every Tuesday regular season home game, fans can enjoy 2 FOR 1 deals on walk-up tickets and select concession items from COYOTE JACK'S...The next 2 FOR 1 TUESDAY is November 17 when the ICE host the EVERETT SILVERTIPS.

PEPSI KIDS CLUB: Registration is now underway for the 2015-16 PEPSI KIDS CLUB...For $17.00, children aged 5-12 can join and receive exclusive access to events with KOOTENAY ICE players all season long...Each KIDS CLUB member also receives a punch card allowing them to attend up to eight regular season home games for $5.00 each when accompanied by an adult...For more information, visit the ICE office or call 417-0322.

COLLEGE NIGHTS: COLLEGE OF THE ROCKIES students can take advantage of discounted ticket and concession packages at select KOOTENAY ICE home games with COLLEGE NIGHTS...Prices range from $12.00 for a game ticket to $20.00 for a ticket and meal combo...The next COLLEGE NIGHT is Saturday, November 28 when the ICE host LETHBRIDGE...For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the CAMPUS LIFE DEPARTMENT at the COLLEGE OF THE ROCKIES.

ROSTER UPDATE: Including long-term injuries, KOOTENAY is carrying 24 players (two goaltenders, nine defensemen and 13 forwards)...The ICE roster is made up of five 1995-born players, two 1996-born players, nine 1997-born players, seven 1998-born players, and one 1999-born player...KOOTENAY has eight first-year players on its roster.

DID YOU KNOW: Forward LUKE PHILP sits ninth among all-time ICE franchise scoring leaders with career totals of 233 regular season points (93-140-233)...PHILP, who has points in eight straight games and in ten of his last 11 outings (8-9-17), is tied with DUSTIN SYLVESTER for sixth among franchise leaders in helpers...PHILP, who recorded 23 points in October (10-13-23), was named the STEEPLES CONSTRUCTION PLAYER OF THE MONTH for October on November 6...Goaltender WYATT HOFLIN earned his 50th career WHL victory November 6 versus MEDICINE HAT...Defenseman DALLAS HINES recorded his first career WHL goal November 6 against the TIGERS...Forward AUSTIN WELLSBY scored his first career penalty shot goal November 7 at LETHBRIDGE...The goal was the first penalty shot marker for KOOTENAY since February 25, 2012 at PRINCE ALBERT (MAX REINHART) and the first against the HURRICANES since November 8, 2000 (RICHARD HAMULA)...Ten of the last twelve games played by the ICE have been decided by one goal.

INJURIES: Forward ZAK ZBOROSKY will be out of the ICE lineup day to day with a lower body injury...Forward JAEDON DESCHENEAU will be out of the KOOTENAY lineup indefinitely with an upper body injury...Defenseman TYLER KING will be out of the ICE lineup indefinitely with a lower body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 19 games of the 2014-15 season the ICE were 6-13-0-0, after 20 games 7-13-0-0 and after 21 games 8-13-0-0.
