
Canadiens Recall Aaron Palushaj from Bulldogs

MONTREAL (October 25, 2011) - The Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Palushaj, 22, had played in four games for Montreal since being recalled from Hamilton on October 10th. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward was pointless with 2 shots, an even plus / minus rating and 5:47 average time on ice with the Canadiens this season. In one game with the Bulldogs, Palushaj recorded two assists, three shots and a +1 rating. Palushaj competed in 68 games with the 'Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists). The native of Livonia, Michigan also played in three games with the Habs in 2010-2011, going pointless.
The Canadiens will battle the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday, October 26th at 7:30 P.M. at the Bell Centre. The Bulldogs face the Rochester Americans on Thursday, October 27th at 7:30 P.M. at Copps Coliseum.
