Rockland 7, New York 6

After trailing New York 4-0 in the after two innings, Rockland rallied back to beat the Federals 7-6 at Provident Bank Park. First baseman Eddie Lantigua batted in third baseman Jacob Rosenbeck in the top of the first inning, and the Federals added three more in the second when center fielder Kyle Gerhard hit an RBI double, and Rosenbeck followed with a two-RBI single. Rockland scored the next four runs during the third, fourth and fifth innings, and the Boulders tacked on one more in each of the seventh and ninth to tie the score at six and bring the game into extra innings. In the bottom of the 11th inning, first baseman Scott Clement batted in left fielder Vic Buttler for Rockland's winning run. Three different Boulders had multiple hits in the game, and designated hitter Ryan Mollica led Rockland with two hits, one run and three RBI. Rosenbeck had two hits, two runs and three RBI for New York. Adrian Martin earned his third win of the season, allowing one hit, no runs and striking out four in two inning pitched.

Brockton 13, Pittsfield 6

Five different Rox recorded three hits against Pittsfield, as Brockton topped the Colonials 13-6 at Campanelli Stadium. Brockton scored two runs in the bottom of the second inning when left fielder Ryan Royster doubled to left field, and shortstop Dominic Ramos followed with an RBI single to center field. Pittsfield had three runs of its own in the next frame, but Brockton scored the next nine runs to take an 11-3 lead against the Colonials. Pittsfield scored three runs in the top of the eighth, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback. In the bottom of the inning, right fielder Keith Brachold sealed the deal for Brockton with a two-run homer. Ramos led Brockton with three hits, two runs and two RBI in five at-bats, and third baseman Jorge Jimenez chipped in three hits, one run and two RBI. Freddy Flores, now 4-2 on the season, earned the win by allowing eight hits, three runs and striking out two in 6.1 innings pitched.
