The Quebec bullpen combined to allow just three hits in four innings of work, anchored by closer Jason Schutt, who tossed the ninth for his 10th save. That held true in this one as well, as Cochran allowed one run on four hits while fanning four in eight innings to improve to 11-0 on the season. The Tornadoes rapped out 10 hits in support of their ace, led by 1B Chris Colabello who was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Worcester CF BJ Weed also had a nice game at the plate. He was 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. Tornadoes reliever Eddie Pena took over for Cochran in the ninth and retired the side in order for his fourth save this year.
