Calgary Reassigns Hugo Carpentier To Utah

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that forward Hugo Carpentier has been reassigned by the Calgary Flames from the AHL's Abbotsford Heat to Utah.
Carpentier played 14 games with Utah from December 5-January 9, tallying three goals and five assists for eight points and 31 penalty minutes. In 35 total games this year with Abbotsford, the 2006 Calgary draft pick, has tallied six assists and 27 penalty minutes.
Carpentier, 21, will be with the Grizzlies Wednesday when they open a five-game home stand with Victoria. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
