TODAY'S GAME

The Calgary Hitmen complete a three-game set with the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight on the road at Co-op Place. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Brett Kemp scored his second goal of the night on a breakaway 4:43 into overtime to lift the Tigers past the Hitmen 6-5 on Saturday night at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on Tsuut'ina Nation. The Hitmen forced the extra session with a pair of markers in the final four minutes of regulation including the equalizer from Riley Fiddler-Schultz with 10.9 seconds remaining. Adam Kydd notched a pair of goals for Calgary while Blake Allan and Josh Prokop added singles. The Tigers, who had leads of 2-0 and 5-3, also received goals from Corson Hopwo, Tyler MacKenzie, Teague Patton and Lukas Svejkovsky.

NOTEWORTHY VS. MEDICINE HAT: Tonight is the last of six meetings in the 2021 season between the Hitmen and Tigers. Medicine Hat has grabbed four of five by a combined score of 24-15. Josh Prokop (4g, 2a) leads the Hitmen in scoring against their Trans-Canada Highway rivals with six points. Jackson van de Leest (2g, 3a) is next with five. Cole Clayton (4g, 6a) and Brett Kemp (4g, 6a) are the top performing Tigers with 10 points each.
