The Brandon Wheat Kings (9-2-1-0) play their second game of a back-to-back tonight, this time facing the Prince Albert Raiders (4-6-1-1) at 9 PM from Regina's Brandt Centre. The Wheat Kings sit in a tie with the Saskatoon Blades for first place in the East Division with 19 points while the Raiders have 10 points and are tied for fifth with the Regina Pats.

The Wheat Kings won the last meeting in convincing fashion, getting out to a four goal lead and never looking back en route to a 7-1 win. Ben McCartney scored the game winning goal in the first period, one of four power play goals for the Wheat Kings on the evening, and he assisted on another to earn the game's first star. All seven goals were scored by different Wheat Kings and Ethan Kruger made 28 saves to earn the win.
The streak stays alive
The Wheat Kings hold the longest active winning streak in the Division as they look for their seventh win in a row against the Raiders. Since March 24th, the Wheat Kings have beaten the Moose Jaw Warriors 8-2, Winnipeg Ice 4-3, Swift Current Broncos 5-2, Prince Albert Raiders 7-1, Regina Pats 7-2 and Saskatoon Blades 3-1.
