Cage Fighting Xtreme Returns To Campanelli Stadium

Brockton, Mass. - One year after hosting the largest outdoor mixed martial arts event in New England history, the Brockton Rox announced on Thursday that Campanelli Stadium will be the location of the second annual Cage Fighting Xtreme MMA event, taking place Saturday, August 14. Bouts will start at 3:00 p.m.

The evening will feature roughly 30 bouts, including both professional and amateur fighters. Also on the card are several female bouts. Among the fighters scheduled to appear is Brockton native and Brockton High School alumnus Steve "Sandman" Dunn, who made his amateur debut at Campanelli Stadium in 2009, and will be fighting as a professional in this year's match.

From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the Shaw's Center parking lot will also feature cars from the United States International Car Show's Northeast Division for fans to view. Local band Six Foot Sunday will be on the field performing throughout the evening.
