Quebec 7, Worcester 3
CF Sebastien Boucher and 3B Robert Wagner blasted back-to-back home runs in the third inning to stake Quebec to an early 4-0 lead they wouldn't give back, as Quebec topped Worcester 7-3. Rookie 1B Marc Mimeault added his first two home runs of the season for the Capitales, finishing the night 3-for-4. 1B Nick Salotti blasted a two-run homer for the Tornadoes and SS Omar Pena reached base three times, but Worcester couldn't recover from the early deficit. RHP Dan Sausville threw 5.2 solid innings for the Capitales to pick up the win.
Pittsfield 7, New Jersey 4
LF Rafael Cabreja blasted two home runs and paced a Pittsfield offense that pounded out twelve hits in a 7-4 victory over New Jersey. RF Kevin Clark and DH Jovan Rosa both launched solo home runs for the Jackals, and 1B Jacob Butler added one of his own to lead off the bottom of the ninth, but New Jersey's comeback fell short. Trevor Marcotte picked up the win for the Colonials, delivering a quality start over six innings of work.
