
Cabrera Returns To Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (August 9, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Francis Cabrera from Rookie League Orem.
Cabrera, 23, has appeared in 11 games for the Orem Owlz in 2009, owning a 2-1 record with a 2.78 ERA with 20 strikeouts. He joined the Bees earlier this season on July 26, but did not appear in a game. The Dominican Republic native originally signed with the Angels as a non-drafted free agent on June 11, 2005. His first appearance with the Bees will be his Triple-A debut.
The Salt Lake Bees begin a four-game home series today against the Nashville Sounds at 4:05 p.m. at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Book your summer group outing with the Salt Lake Bees while dates are still available.
