
C Jeremy Dowdy Promoted from Kannapolis

The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that C Jeremy Dowdy has been promoted to Birmingham from Class A Kannapolis. Roster at 24.
Dowdy, 24, will be making his second career appearance at the Double-A level, having previously played in one game for the Barons on July 7, 2013 going 0-for-4.
In 44 games with the Dash this season, Dowdy hit .295 (49-for-166) with a home run, nine doubles, 15 runs scored and 19 RBI.
