February 3, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Connecticut Whale News Release

Hartford, February 3, 2005: After two weeks on the road, the Hartford Wolf Pack will trade their Dattco bus for bussing tables at the second annual Tip-A-Player charity dinner to benefit the Gaylord Hospital. The team will serve as waiters this coming Monday, February 7 at Coach's Sports Bar and Grille in Hartford.

A few spots are still available for the early seating at 5:00 p.m. The 7:15 p.m. seating is sold out. Dinner includes an appetizer, main course and a beverage served up by Wolf Pack players. Adult tickets are $30.00, while kids eat for $15.00. Children's meals are available. In addition, there will be a silent auction, raffles and contests, while players will compete to see who can raise the most "Puck bucks" tips. Last year, the Wolf Pack raised $23,000 at the event.

Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford is a 109-bed long-term acute care hospital specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of medically complex patients. The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation thanks all Coach's staff, who are volunteering their time for this worthy cause.

For tickets, contact the Wolf Pack office at 860-246-7825 by Friday at 5:00 p.m. Any remaining spots for the early seating will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis when the doors open at 5:00 p.m. at Coach's on Monday.

The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
