Durham Bulls News Release

(Pawtucket, RI) Dioner Navarro had two doubles, but that was the only bright spot on Monday, as Durham's 11-game win streak ended in a 12-0 loss at Pawtucket. The win streak had tied Durham's Triple-A record, set originally in 2004.

Pawtucket, which had scored just four total runs in the first two games of the series, exploded for seven runs in the first against Brian Baker (7-2). Baker had not allowed that many total runs in any of the first four months of the 2010 season.

Pawtucket sent 12 to the plate, and at one point had five straight run-scoring hits off Baker. The big hit was Jack Hannahan's two-run bases-loaded double. Josh Reddick belted a three-run homer in the third off Baker, Reddick's ninth of the year. Reddick led an 11-hit attack by going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a homer and five RBI.

Pawtucket tacked on two more in the fifth against Aneury Rodriguez, who followed Baker and worked the last five innings.

Durham (68-41) still has best record in the IL, a 6-1 road trip, and a 14 game lead over Charlotte in the South Division with 34 games left. With Jeremy Hellickson making a winning big-league debut on Monday, Durham will go bullpen by committee on Tuesday in a 12:05 start. Air time on 620 the Buzz is at 11:50 a.m. RHP Adam Mills (2-7) will start for Pawtucket.
