
Bulls release 2008 schedule

Durham Bulls News Release
Durham, NC - The Durham Bulls today released the dates for their 2008 season. The team will open the season on the road on Thursday, April 3rd against the Toledo Mud Hens, then celebrate the home opener a week later on Friday April 11th as they take on the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees, Triple-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees.
Highlights of the 2008 season include:
*34 weekend dates, almost half of the home schedule
*Eight day games
*The popular Pawtucket Red Sox series the weekend after Memorial Day
*Independence Day Holiday against the cross-state rival Charlotte Knights
*Mother's Day vs. the Syracuse Chiefs.
