Bulls Get AHL Experienced Forward Ryan Garlock from Bakersfield

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that the Bulls have acquired forward Ryan Garlock from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for the rights of defenseman Collin Bowman. In a subsequent move, the Worcester Sharks recalled Bowman.

Garlock, 27, is in his seventh year of professional hockey. In eight games with Bakersfield this season, the Iroquois Falls, Ontario native has three points (1 goal, 2 assists). Garlock was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round of the 2004 NHL Entry draft. In 321 career AHL games with the San Antonio Rampage, Binghamton Senators, Springfield Falcons, Hershey Bears, Syracuse Crunch and Hartford Wolf Pack, Garlock totaled 79 points (22 goals, 57 assists). In 79 ECHL games with the Johnstown Chiefs, Charlotte Checkers and Bakersfield, he's compiled 85 points (38 goals, 47 assists). Garlock played junior hockey with the Guelph Storm and Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, compiling 182 points (75 goals, 107 assists) in 233 games.

Bowman, 22, has nine points (2 goals, 7 assists) in 28 games with the Bulls this season.

The Bulls finish their four-game homestand this Wednesday against the Colorado Eagles. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Dean Ouellet bobblehead. For tickets, call 855-SF-BULLS.
