(Rochester, NY) Ryan Shealy's two-out run-scoring double gave Durham a one-run lead in the 11th, but Rochester scored twice with two out on Sunday in the bottom to hand the Bulls their fourth straight defeat, 7-6.

Shealy's double to right-center off Rob Delaney (4-1) scored Joe Dillon, who had a one-out single. Those were Durham's first hits since the fourth inning after the Bulls had built a 5-0 lead.

In the bottom of the 11th, Winston Abreu (0-1), working a second inning for the first time this season, allowed a double to left center to Trevor Plouffe. Brian Dinkelman then doubled over Rashad Eldridge's head. Plouffe thought the ball might be caught, and only advanced to third. It looked like that might cost Rochester as Danny Valencia lined to third, and Luke Hughes popped up to second. However, on a 3-2 pitch Brock Peterson looped a slider into shallow left that landed near the foul line. The ball landed beyond Elliot Johnson's dive and in front of Fernando Perez for a game-winning two-run single.

Durham had built a 5-0 lead on a three-run homer in the third by Dan Johnson and a two-run blast in the second by Elliot Johnson. Carlos Hernandez hadn't allowed a hit through four. However, Rochester rallied in the fifth after Perez dropped Valencia's leadoff fly ball to center. Dustin Martin would come up with a wind-blown two-run triple to left, and Allan de San Miguel followed two pitches later with a homer to cut the deficit to 5-4. In the seventh, Matt Macri hit a two-out homer to tie the game at five. All of Rochester's seven runs came with two out.

Hernandez ended up going seven innings, allowing just three hits, allowing five runs, one earned, on one walked and fanned five. Dale Thayer followed with two scoreless innings before Abreu came in.

Durham (15-10) will look to bounce back on Monday at 7:05 as Jeremy Hellickson meets knuckleballer Charlie Zink. Coverage on 620 the Buzz begins at 6:50.
