Bullpen, Late Push Lift Cutters

The Williamsport Crosscutters received seven shutout innings and 14 strikeouts from their bullpen, as they took the lead for good in the top of the 9th inning, earning their first win of the season.

Carlos Francisco went the first two innings, without allowing a run. Francisco got roughed up in the top of the 3rd, allowing four runs before exiting the ball game with an apparent injury.

The Cutters bullpen, of Micheal Gomez, Tom Sutera, Anton Kuznetsov and Blake Bennett combined to throw seven shutout innings, striking out 14 batters and not allowing a walk, as they allowed the Crosscutters the opportunity to come back and win the game.

The Crosscutters plated three runs over the course of their final two at bats, retaking the lead for good in the top of the 9th inning.

Seth Lancaster became the first Crosscutter to record a three-hit night, finishing the game 3-4 with three singles and scored the go ahead run on a wild pitch in the top of the 9th inning.
