
Bulldogs to honour Tiger-Cat alumni and host Maple Leafs

The Hamilton Bulldogs have three games on the schedule for this upcoming week including a road trip to Rochester on Wednesday, November 24th and a weekend home stand against the St. John's Maple Leafs on Friday, November 26th and Saturday, November 27th.
At Friday's game versus the Maple Leafs, the Bulldogs will honour Tiger-Cat Alumni with a special pre-game tribute. There are 40 Tiger-Cat alumni confirmed to be in attendance and the Bulldogs players will wear special black and gold jerseys for this one-time event. The jerseys will then be auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to the Hamilton Bulldogs Youth Fund.
Both games versus the Maple Leafs will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet. The first 5,000 fans at Saturday's game will receive a Sportsnet magnet schedule.
The Bulldogs had a tough four games last week losing each contest. They dropped a 3-0 decision at home to the Edmonton Road Runners (Nov. 17) and lost three road games to Syracuse (4-1, Nov.19), Rochester (3-1, Nov. 20) and Wilkes/Barre Scranton (6-1, Nov. 21).
Hamilton will look to bounce back this week with the above-mentioned games versus Rochester and St. John's; both division rivals.

Bulldogs Team Notes
Hamilton leads the league in third period shots recording 206 so far in 19 games, they are also 6th overall in shots for with 553 ... The Bulldogs continue to be unbeaten in regulation when leading after the first period ... Hamilton is currently tied for eighth spot in the Western Conference with Cleveland, however the Barons have three games in hand.
Trevor Daley - scored first goal in a Hamilton Bulldogs' uniform in Rochester on Saturday night ... the goal also got Daley to the 20-point plateau for his AHL career, which he reached in only 59 games.
Tomas Plekanec - scored his seventh goal of the season on Friday, which means the next goal he scores will be his 50th in a Bulldogs uniform
Gavin Morgan - is approaching 700 career penalty minutes in his AHL career, currently he is only 16 minutes away from the mark.
Philippe Plante - Sunday's game was Plante's 150th career AHL game, Plante has recorded 18 goals and 32 assists for 50 points in his AHL career.

BULLDOGS on Rogers Sportsnet this week
Bulldogs fans can tune into Rogers Sportsnet all week long to see 'Breaking the Ice', a five-part feature on the Hamilton Bulldogs. The feature will air during Sportsnet's evening news for five consecutive nights beginning Monday at 6:30pm (6:00pm for Sportsnet East). Highlights include a look at training camp, a road trip and various commentaries by Bulldogs players and coaches.
'DOGS' LIFE' to Air Tuesday Live on CABLE 14 & 820 CHAM'
The first-ever episode of 'DOGS' LIFE', a monthly Hamilton Bulldogs television show, will air live on Hamilton's Cable 14 and 820 CHAM on Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:00 p.m. The show will be televised live from the Hamilton Room in Copps Coliseum, and Bulldogs fans are invited to be a part of the interactive studio audience.
DOGS' LIFE will be hosted by Bulldogs play-by-play announcer Derek Wills, and will feature Bulldogs reports and special guests. This Tuesday's guests will include Hamilton Bulldogs head coach Doug Jarvis, as well as forward Chris Higgins and defenceman Ron Hainsey. Hamilton Spectator sports reporter Garry McKay will also be on hand to discuss the Bulldogs season.
DOGS' LIFE is also an interactive show, where fans in the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. Bulldogs fans unable to attend the show in person can send their questions via e-mail to dogslife@hamiltonbulldogs.com. Select questions will be answered on the show.

BULLDOGS TO HONOUR TIGER-CATS ALUMNI - 'Black & Gold' Game:
The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced the hockey club, in cooperation with the City of Hamilton, will honour Hamilton Tiger-Cat alumni with a special tribute prior to the 'Black and Gold' game on Friday, November 26th, when the Bulldogs host the St. John's Maple Leafs at Copps Coliseum at 7:30 p.m.
The pre-game tribute for the 'Black and Gold' game will include a Dinner and Civic Awards Ceremony in the Bulldogs Season Ticket Holders Lounge at Copps Coliseum, and an on-ice tribute honouring the Tiger-Cat Alumni. As well, the Hamilton Bulldogs players will be wearing special 'Black and Gold' jerseys for this game only. The 'Black and Gold' jerseys will be auctioned off at the end of the game with proceeds from the auction going towards the Hamilton Bulldogs Youth Fund.
Forty Hamilton Tiger-Cat Alumni have confirmed to be in attendance on November 26th to celebrate the rich Hamilton Tiger-Cats history.
