Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs opened a four game home stand with a win as they defeated the Philadelphia Phantoms 4-2 at Copps Coliseum on Saturday night. The Bulldogs record now improves to 5 wins, 2 losses, 0 ties and 1 overtime loss on the season.
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Fernando Pisani, Jani Rita, Marcel Hossa and Jason Ward. Pisani's goal was his first of the season. Marc-Andre Bergeron earned his first point of the year with an assist on Pisani's first period goal.
Philadelphia responded with goals from veteran Mark Greig and Ben Stafford.
Ty Conklin earned his third win of the season in net for Hamilton as he made 23 saves. Phantoms goaltender Neil Little suffered the loss.
The Bulldogs next action take place TOMORROW - Sunday, November 3rd as they host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
