Hamilton Bulldogs celebrate against the Owen Sound Attack

HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs ended their five-game losing streak with a solid 5-2 win over the Owen Sound Attack Sunday afternoon at FirstOntario Centre.
Arthur Kaliyev (15) struck first for the Bulldogs scoring at 5:55 of the 1ST period with Nicholas Mattinen (6) making it 2-0 with a goal at 14:15. The Attack came to life in the first half of the 2nd period scoring on the power-play and shorthanded to tie the game 2-2. The Bulldogs reclaimed the lead with a Brandon Saigeon (11) goal halfway through the period, then the power-play connected with Arthur Kaliyev (16) netting his second of the game to give the Black and Gold a 4-2 lead after two periods. Ben Garagan (3) rounded out the scoring with a 3rd period power-play goal to make the final 5-2.

The Bulldogs begin a two-game road trip Friday November 9th in Kingston. The next home game is Saturday November 24th vs the Niagara IceDogs.
