'Bugs To Face Defending Champion Brahmas Tonight

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Come out to the CenturyTel Center tonight for a little pre-Halloween fun between the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 pm. Join us as these perennial rivals meet for the first time this season and get involved in the festivities during our Halloween Spooktacular!
Wear your costume to the game and participate in our intermission costume contest for a chance show off your creativity and win prizes! We'll be celebrating Halloween throughout the evening with different entertainment activities, so bring the kids indoors out of the rain and enjoy the Mudbugs Halloween Spooktacular.
Tonight's game will feature the first of eight regular season meetings between the Mudbugs and their rivals from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Brahmas, coming off their first-ever President's Cup Championship last year, are 1-2-1 so far this season. The 'Bugs come into tonight with a 2-2 mark after overcoming a 3-0 first period deficit to beat Odessa 5-4 in a shootout last Saturday night.
The two teams have played many memorable games over the past two seasons, facing one another a total of 25 times including regular season and playoff games. Bossier-Shreveport holds a regular season record of 9-8-4 against Texas since the Brahmas returned from a one-year hiatus in 2007-08 under Head Coach Dan Wildfong.
