Buffalo Bisons Offer 60 Degree Guarantee this Weekend

After a chilling start to the 2007 season, it looks like Mother Nature will finally allow Spring to arrive at Dunn Tire Park. In fact, the Buffalo Bisons are GUARANTEEING it's going to be baseball weather in the jewel of Downtown Buffalo this weekend!

The first-place Bisons have announced that they are guaranteeing it will be 60 degrees for the next two home games, Saturday, April 21 (6:05 p.m.) and Sunday, April 22 (1:05 p.m.) against the Pawtucket Red Sox. If the weather doesn't match the very promising forecast for the weekend, everyone in attendance will get a free ticket to a future Bisons game in 2007.

"We're very excited that the weather is finally warming up for baseball," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Buffalo Bisons. "With the 60 degree guarantee and the many giveaways we have planned, it really allows us to thanks our faithful, and patient, fans."

The Bisons have added giveaways after every inning of the games on Saturday and Sunday, including free ice cream, free coffee, free hot chocolate and free children's passes to Martin's Fantasy Island Park. The 2007 Bisons magnetic schedules, courtesy of AIG, will also be passed out to the first 5,000 fans in attendance for both games. To top it all off, one fan on Saturday and Sunday will win a pair of Buffalo Sabres Playoff Tickets for the 2007 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Saturday's game is also a Niagara High School Saturday as high school students can purchase two tickets for only $12 with a valid school ID. Sunday's 1:05 p.m. start is a Family Fun Sunday, with children's entertainment during the game (Concourse Chalk Walk, Parent/Children games and more) and post game Kids Run the Bases with free balloons.
