Bucks To Announce 2007-08 Schedule At 3pm Today

LAREDO, TX- (Courtesy CHL) The 2007-2008 Central Hockey League playing schedule has been ratified and will be released to fans and the media Today, August 9th, at 3:00 PM central time.

The 544 game campaign will begin with eight contests on Friday, October 19th and concludes with another eight games on Saturday, March 22nd. Each of the CHL's 17 member clubs will play 64 game schedules. Just over 75% of all contests will take place on Fridays (33.27%), Saturdays (33.27%) or Sundays (8.82%), with nearly half (49.8%) of the schedule featuring divisional match-ups.

A pair of rematches from the 2006-2007 Ray Miron President's Cup Finals will feature the defending champion Colorado Eagles and Laredo bucks meeting Saturday, November 17th at the Budweiser Events Center and Sunday, January 6th at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The Rocky Mountain Rage will play host to the 2008 CHL All-Star Game on Wednesday, January 16th at the Broomfield Event Center.
