Bucks Start Desert Swing Wednesday

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League start a three-game series at the Arizona Sundogs Wednesday night at Tim's Toyota Center. Game time is 8:05pm CST.

Laredo went into the Christmas holiday picking up a 5-0 shutout win over Rio Grande Valley last Wednesday. Torrie Jung stopped all 38 shots he faced to lead the Bucks to their first shutout win since December 17, 2009.

Laredo enters Wednesday's game two points behind Arizona and Odessa and three points behind Mississippi in the Berry Conference standings.

The Bucks and Sundogs will meet for the third time this season on Wednesday night with the first two games ending in 2-1 scores. Laredo won a 2-1 shootout decision on December 2nd while Arizona picked up a 2-1 regulation win on December 10th.

Neil Trimm, who was named to his first CHL All-Star game last week, enters Wednesday's game in the top-five in scoring with 37 points (10-2737).

Arizona went 2-3 in their last five games, going 1-2 against Rapid City and 1-1 against Colorado.

The Sundogs start a six-game home stand Wednesday night. Arizona will host the Bucks and Killer Bees for three games each during this stretch.
