
Bucks Split Doubleheader with Cats, 3-2

Waterloo Bucks News Release
The Waterloo Bucks (10-24) managed to pick up a doubleheader split with the Thunder Bay Border Cats (12-23) after they took game two by a 3-2 final.
Angelo Altavillo went 2-4 with a double, driving in all 3 of the Bucks runs. Brendan Hueth had a 3-4 day, scoring a pair of runs and falling a home run shy of the cycle. Tyler Sandoval put up the Bucks' other mult-hit game, going 2-3.
Joshua Culliver earned the win in relief for Waterloo, throwing 1.2 scoreless innings of relief with a strikeout, while Javin Drake picked up his first save of 2018, striking out 3 over 1.1 frames.
The Bucks and the Border Cats conclude their series on Tuesday night at 6:05 p.m. CST.
