Laredo dropped their first game of the season when they fell 4-2 in Corpus last night. Last night the Bucks failed to lead at the end of the first and second periods for the first time in their first three contests, as they trailed 2-1 after each period.

Laredo had trouble on special teams last night as they were just one-for-eight on the power-play, and allowed two Corpus power-play goals. The Ice Rays entered last night's game 0-for-12 with the man advantage.

The Bucks are 6-1 all-time in home openers, including winning their last three. In Laredo's last two home openers they have won by a combined score of 14-1.

J. P Levassuer is scheduled to make his home debut in net tonight for the Bucks. Levassuer stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Bucks season opener October 16th at Bossier-Shreveport.

Lance Monych (3-36) and Jeff Bes (1-56) lead the Bucks in scoring.

Igor Agarunov is once again a game time decision, but played sparingly in last night's loss in Corpus Christi.

Allen enters tonight 3-0 on their season opening seven-game road trip, and is just one of two CHL teams without a regulation loss (Colorado 2-0-1).

The Americans have only allowed five goals in three games this season, including shuting out Arizona on October 16 and yielding just one goal to Bossier in last night's 2-1 win.

Allen netminder Charlie Effinger is 3-0 with a paltry 1.67 G.A.A and a .946 sv. %.

After going 2-1 on their season-opening three-game road trip the Bucks start a three-game home stand tonight. Laredo will host Amarillo next Friday (Oct 30th) and Rio Grande Valley next Sunday (Nov 1st).
