The Bucks look for their first two-game winning streak of the season Friday night when they host the Rush. Laredo took two out of three games against Odessa including notching their first home win of the season in Tuesday's 4-2 win.
In the Bucks three game series with the Jackalopes Laredo held Odessa a combined 0-for 19 on the power-play. The Bucks held the 'Jacks 0-for-six on Thursday, 0-for-eight on Saturday and 0-for-five on Tuesday.
Jeff Bes (1-89) enters Friday's game just one point away from 1,000 in his career. The 37-year-old Bes has 999 career points (336-663999) with 594 coming in the CHL (200-394594). In Laredo's 4-2 win over Odessa Tuesday Bes became the 21st player in history to score 200 CHL goals.
Laredo will play seven of their next eight games on home ice with the only road game in that stretch November 13th at Bossier-Shreveport. During this home stretch six of those home games will be against teams that made the playoffs last season.
Neil Trimm leads the Bucks in scoring with 13 points (3-10-13) and has picked up at least a point in Laredo's first six games. Serge Dube also has a six-game point streak (1-910).
The Rush enter Friday's game with a 3-3 (six points) record but have gone just 1-3 after starting the season 2-0.
Brendon Hodge leads the Rush in scoring with seven points (1-67).
