This Date in CHL History

On November 5, 2005, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees defeated the Odessa Jackalopes 3-2 in a shootout with Dwayne Hay scoring the game winner. Current Odessa assistant coach, Matt Cressman, scored a goal in regulation and notched the only shootout score for the Jacks. Both Dominic Leveille and Sebastien Thinel, still with Odessa, were in the line-up in that game. Ironically, the Jacks visit the Bees again tonight, five years to the day after that SOL.
