Bryan Acosta Called into National Team Duty

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas midfielder Bryan Acosta has been called up by Honduras National Team head coach Fabián Coito to represent Honduras for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup running from July 10-August 1.

Acosta, 27, has appeared in 47 regular season matches for FC Dallas since signing with the club in 2019. He's scored two goals and recorded four assists. He has 47 appearances for Los Catrachos, last appearing in an international friendly against Mexico on June 13.

Honduras was drawn into Group D along with Grenada, Panama and Qatar. Honduras will host Grenada on July 13 for the first group stage match at 8PM CT and will play Panama as the visiting team on July 17 at 8:30PM CT. Honduras will lastly play 2021 Gold Cup Guest Nation Qatar on July 20 at 8PM CT. All of the matches will be played at BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas.
