Green Bay, WI- The Green Bay Bullfrogs completed the sweep in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Wisconsin Woodchucks by a score of 3-0 at Joannes Stadium thanks to the performance by Sam Brunner.

Brunner threw seven shutout innings and allowed two hits and a walk with seven strikeouts, as he improved to 5-3 on the season.

Green Bay built its lead while Brunner dominated on the mound, as he retired 13 consecutive batters after allowing a walk to begin the game.

With two outs in the bottom of the first inning, Brian Celsi walked, stole second and scored on Danny Rosenbaum's RBI single.

Green Bay scored again in the third with a run-scoring double by Celsi to bring home Paul Jacobson.

Celsi grounded into a double play to shortstop, but Jacobson scored to extend the Green Bay lead to 3-0 through five innings.

Brunner completed the seventh with his fourth 1-2-3 inning of the game. Chad Dullnig entered to begin the eighth and shut down the three batters he faced before Jeremy Graf closed out the game with his 11th save of the season.

The Bullfrogs will begin a two-game series against the Madison Mallards on Thursday for Pagel's Ponderosa Dairy Night. The Bullfrogs will wear custom uniforms that will be auctioned off.

Beers will be half price from the time gates open until the end of the fifth inning for Thirsty Thursday. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m., and gates will open one hour prior to the first pitch.
