
BRUINS ROLL TO SIXTH STRAIGHT WIN

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins extended their season-high winning streak to six games following Wednesday night's 4-2 victory at the Dunkin' Donuts Center over the North Division-leading Manchester Monarchs. The win improved the Bruins' record to 31-25-7-3 (72 points) and could move them into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
Five different players had multiple-point games, led by left wing Ivan Huml, who scored his 23rd goal and added two assists. Right wing Andy Hilbert also tallied his 23rd goal of the year and had an assist, while right wing Lee Goren scored his 11th goal and assisted on another. Defenseman Jonathan Girard and center Ben Stafford each had two assists. Defenseman Chris Kelleher tallied the game-winner, his third goal of the season.
Goren extended his career-high point streak to seven games (4-8-12), the Bruins' longest point streak of the season. Huml has 6-5-11 totals over his last seven games, while Stafford has 1-7-8 totals over his last five. Hilbert has points in four straight games (2-3-5). Kelleher has 2-5-7 totals over his last six games.
Goaltender Andrew Raycroft stopped 22 shots for his 23rd win of the season.
The Bruins host the Springfield Falcons on Friday, March 15th at 7:05 p.m. They visit the Albany River Rats on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. before returning home to host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday, March 17th at 4:05 p.m.
