Saint John, NB - The Saint John Flames announced today that they have signed 29-year-old defenceman Gary Gulash to a 25-game Professional Tryout Agreement.
The 6'0", 200 lb native of Calgary, Alberta has been playing with the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League this season where he has recorded 2 goals and 15 assists for 17 points and 159 penalty minutes. Gulash has appeared in 16 career American Hockey League regular season contests recording 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points and 103 penalty minutes.
Gulash is expected to be available for the Flames tonight night when Saint John visits the Albany River Rats.
The Saint John Flames are the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames and have been a member of the AHL since 1993.
