
Bruins Recall Malcolm Subban

BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, January 30, that goaltender Niklas Svedberg will join the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League on a conditioning loan and that goaltender Malcolm Subban has been recalled from Providence.
Subban has a 2.47 goals against average and .921 save percentage in 22 AHL games this season and was selected as the AHL Player of the Week for January 19-25 after he recorded a 0.99 goals against average and .967 save percentage in three starts.
Depending on how long Svedberg's conditioning stint lasts, Subban might make his NHL debut during this stretch as Boston is scheduled to play three games in four days from February 7-10.
