Bruins host Worcester in showdown

The Providence Bruins and Worcester IceCats face off at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, March 25 at 7:05 p.m., in a critical Atlantic Division showdown. Just two points separate the clubs in the division standings. Worcester currently holds the fourth and final playoff spot in the division with its 35-26-4-2 record (76 points). The IceCats are just two points ahead of the Bruins, who are 32-26-3-7 on the season. Friday's game will be the seventh of 10 meetings between the Route 146 rivals this season. The Bruins are 1-3-1-1 against the IceCats, with four of the previous six games decided by one goal.

Fans are asked to bring unopened jars of peanut butter to the game on Friday. The peanut butter will be collected by the Bruins' wives and girlfriends in the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office lobby from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The collection is part of Washington Trust Bank's "PB Express Month". All jars of peanut butter collected will be donated to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
