Bruins fall to Portland

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins and Portland Pirates played the sixth game of their 10-game season series on Saturday night in Portland, with the Pirates hanging on for a 3-2 win. The Bruins in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with their 26-20-3-6 record.

Center Keith Aucoin tallied a third period power play goal, his 15th goal of the season. He has points (6-9-15) in 10 of his last 11 games. Defenseman Jay Leach added his fourth goal of the season.

Cody Rudkowsky (4-7-2) took the loss, stopping 26 shots.

The Bruins return home to host the Springfield Falcons on Sunday, February 20 at 4:05 p.m.
