West Sacramento, Calif. - Jeremy Brown hit two home runs to lead the River Cats to a 4-3 victory over the Omaha Royals on Sunday afternoon at Raley Field. Brown's homers put him in the team lead for that category and accounted for three of the team's four runs on the day. With the win, the Cats take the 4-game series from the O-Royals, 3 games to 1. Cats starter Shane Komine earned the victory and reliever John Birtwell stretched his consecutive scoreless inning streak to 9.0, as the Cats move to 5.0 games behind of 1st place Las Vegas in the PCL Southern Division (the 51s lost to Albuquerque on Sunday, 8-5).
