Swift Current Broncos News Release
Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos are excited to announce plans for the 2023 Home Opener on Saturday, September 23.
The Broncos welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes to the InnovationPlex for a 7 p.m. puck drop, but prior to the puck being dropped, former Broncos Captain Luke Hunter, and the Hunter Brothers will perform the Canadian National Anthem.
Before fans get comfortable in their seats though, Innovation Credit Union is proudly sponsoring a pre-game tailgate for those with tickets to the game. The tailgate will feature live music from Jesse Genns and the Outlaw Party, as well as a barbeque, kid zone, and beverage sampling all at the Swift Current Curling Club.
"We're very excited to kick off the 2023-24 season next Saturday as we take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Our staff has been working extremely hard behind the scenes to make sure this is a big event and not just a hockey game," said Executive Director of Business Operations Kevin Simpson. "We'll be hosting a special Pre-Game Tailgate Party and, we just confirmed that former Broncos caption Luke Hunter and the Hunter Brothers will perform the National Anthem so it's shaping up to a very special night."
To make things even better, Innovation Credit Union is providing 23/24 schedule magnets to the first 1,500 fans through the doors.
Tickets for the Home Opener, and all regular season games are now on sale! Advance tickets are available at The Stable!
