Broncos Remember Doug Mosher

It is with sadness the Swift Current Broncos announce the passing of former Broncos' General Manager Doug Mosher.

Mosher was a member of the Broncos organization from 1991-1996.

Before joining the Broncos, he was a scout with the Tri-City Americans. He then took over a scouting role with the Broncos in 1991. The following season he became the Director of Player Personnel/Assistant GM, he held that role for 2 seasons and then was promoted to General Manager for the 94-95 season.

Doug was awarded the Eastern Conference Executive of the Year in '95-96.

After moving on from Swift Current, Doug was the General Manager for the Medicine Hat Tigers for 2 seasons and moved onto a NHL scouting career with the Minnesota Wild until this past season.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Maple Creek Armoury at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Binkley's Funeral Service, Maple Creek, SK, Phone (306) 662-2292.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Maple Creek, Swift Current or Medicine Hat Palliative Care Society in your area.
