
Broncos Re-Assign Smith; Release Rossignol

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, announced that the club has re-assigned forward Adam Smith and released forward Adam Rossignol.
Smith has been re-assigned to the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL. He was acquired from the Portland Winterhawks in October of 2011 in exchange for Dillon Wagner. The 6'2", 189-pound Nanaimo, BC product made four pre-season appearances with the Broncos this year where he recorded 15 penalty minutes. Last season, Smith played 20 games with the Broncos putting up 34 penalty minutes.
Rossignol was acquired from the Kootenay Ice in January 2012. The 6', 184-pound native of Surrey, BC made three pre-season appearances with the club recording three points (1-2-3). Last season, Rossignol put up a combined 21 points (9-12-21) playing 71 games between the Broncos and Kootenay Ice.
