Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats decided on the goaltending tandem for the 2012-13 season Wednesday by reassigning goaltender Adam Beukeboom. Also reassigned Wednesday was defenceman Nathan Zimbaluk who will join the SJHL's Melfort Mustangs.

Beukeboom ('94), appeared in nineteen games for the Pats last season compiling a 5-6-2-0 record while featuring a 3.08 goals against average, 0.898 save percentage and tallying one shutout.

He suited up for one pre-season game in 2012, coming out on the wrong end of a 5-3 decision against the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Zimbaluk ('93), dressed for 16 games with the Pats last season before joining the Melfort Mustangs in Junior-A for another fifteen where he tallied three assists in those games. In 2012, he played in three preseason games without notching any points.

Zimbaluk will rejoin the Melfort Mustangs in the SJHL. Coached by Gavin Holcolmb, the Mustangs can use the 6'3" defender's size to aid a goaltending tandem that faced the most shots in the SJHL last season.

The Pats roster currently features 15 forwards, 9 defencemen and 2 goaltenders ahead of Friday's Regular Season Opener in Brandon. That game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at

Tickets are still available for the Habitat for Humanity Home Opener presented by Mosaic through Ticketmaster. For group sales and season ticket information call the Pats Office at 522-5604 or visit ReginaPats.com.
