Broncos Acquire Noori from Silvertips

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced today that they have acquired 2004-born forward Billal Noori from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a conditional 9th Round Pick in the 2027 WHL Draft.
Noori (5'10"/183lbs), out of Edmonton, Alta., has spent the last two seasons with the Calgary Hitmen. Over 37 career games for the Hitmen, Noori scored six goals and added four assists for 10 points.
Noori was recently drafted in the 9th Round of the 2023 WHL Draft by Everett, and was also a former 4th Round WHL Pick in 2019 by Calgary.
Prior to his time in Calgary, Noori spent three years with the Northern Alberta Extreme Hockey Academy. In 2019/2020, Noori led the Elite 15 team at NAX in goals with 30.
The Broncos open up their pre-season on Thursday when the Moose Jaw Warriors come to town.
