Brodziak returns to Penguins

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Edmonton Oilers have re-assigned center Kyle Brodziak to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced on Thursday.

Brodziak appeared in six games for the Oilers after being recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on March 5th. He scored his first career NHL goal versus the St. Louis Blues on March 17th and had two penalty minutes.

The third-year pro currently ranks tied for third on the Penguins with 46 points (21+25) in 49 games and ranks second with a plus-11 rating. He is tied for fifth in the league with six game-winning goals.

The Penguins return to action this Friday when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05pm. The Pens will also play host to the Hartford WolfPack on Saturday evening at 7:05pm.
